Our open air restaurant is renowned for it’s excellent food and unmatched service offering breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as salads, sandwiches and sweets throughout the day. Cynthia creates the menu herself and ensures that everything is prepared from scratch, with love and care, using the freshest ingredients selected mostly from local producers and Kariwak’s own organic garden.
Breakfast is a feast of fresh tropical fruit, homemade yogurt and muesli and a choice of eggs any style with homemade wholegrain bread or local favourites like flying fish breaded in cornmeal or smoked herring with coconut bake, vegetarian options are also always available. In addition to the regular coffee and tea we also offer homemade, local cocoa and our own spice tea… an invigorating combination of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, sweet bayleaf and local honey. The lunch and dinner menus are set daily based on what is freshly available with vegetarian, fish or meat entree options. Friday and Saturday nights are buffet dinner with live entertainment from our in-house band, the Kariwak Players. Our fully stocked bar offers a variety of traditional favourites and original cocktails and mocktails.
We are happy to cater to special dietary needs and ask that you discuss these with us prior to arrival so that we can best ensure your meal options get the same care and attention given to the daily menu. We are also happy to prepare early children’s dinner as some of our youngest guests prefer to eat something a bit more than a sandwich a bit earlier in the evening after a long day at the beach.
